Reminder: New Employer W-2 Reporting Requirements Begin in 2012

01/06/12 - Employers that filed 250 or more Form W-2s in 2011 must begin reporting the total cost of employees' medical coverage on their 2012 Form W-2s. Reporting for employers that filed fewer than 250 Form W-2s in 2011 is voluntary for 2012, but will be required starting with their 2013 W-2s.
